The ferry ride to Salt Spring offers stunning views of the Salish Sea, its many aquatic inhabitants, and rolling and rugged landscapes. The ride itself is a part of the immersion experience.

Stepping onto the ferry and leaving the mainland is what we call a "threshold moment" and a part of the Wild Living immersion journey. When you step onto the boat, you are invited to listen to an audio recording (below) to mark the moment. This recording invites you to step from the known and familiar into the beautiful wilderness of the Gulf Islands and your immersion experience.

Wow, the wild immersion has concluded and our life journeys continue. Yours and mine. It might be harder for you to see the transformations I experienced during the immersion but I too grew, was challenged, learned, and was nourished by nature and you all.
In such a short time we became a warm, caring and supportive little ecosystem and wolf heart overflows with gratitude.
I hope everyone holds on to the ‘thread’ of calm and peace you feel within as you journey to your home. I wish you gentle transitions, a soft landing and wish you well as you begin the ‘work’ of taking a small step, each day, in furtherance of your vision.
I look forward to seeing you all again in the Zoom Forest.
